Here’s how to care for your committed recycled cork mat:

• Never machine wash your cork mat; do not use soap, sponges, or harsh products!
• Cork is a naturally self-cleaning material. To deep clean it if necessary, spray a homemade stain remover-disinfectant: ½ water or floral hydrosol + ½ white household vinegar + just a few drops of essential oils if you like. Then gently wipe with a soft sponge or a clean microfiber cloth (tips from the Yogamatata brand).
• The Yogom Spray can also be suitable; it’s gentle, natural, and contains no vinegar or alcohol.
• Always let your mat dry completely in the shade before rolling it up.
