When you receive your mala, you have two choices: wear it right away, or infuse it with your intentions. The sacred beads will then carry energy, creating a connection between you and your necklace. For this, we recommend the following ceremony:

• Monday is the sacred day dedicated to Shiva. So, start wearing your mala on this first day of the week.
• Find a quiet place conducive to relaxation.
• In a bowl of water, place a few flowers and immerse your mala.
• Light an incense stick to help your mind and body relax.
• Once you’ve reached a level of serenity, cleanse each bead of your mala. Take the time to infuse them with your intentions and imagine them protecting you and bringing you inner peace.
• Repeat the mantra « OM HREEM NAMAH SHIVAYA OM », which represents the tears of Shiva.
• Now all that’s left is to wear your mala and enjoy its benefits.

By regularly wearing your mala, the beads will absorb a lot of energy. So, sometimes you need to cleanse them to reset. To do this, turn on your faucet and place the necklace under running water. Touch each bead with the intention of cleaning it. To dry it, ideally hang the necklace outdoors. Once dry, a little natural oil on each bead will help them regain their shine.
