Here’s how to care for your committed mat, made from 100% recycled material:

• For hot yoga, use a non-slip yoga towel on the mat.
• hejhej-mats are designed for use without shoes.
• Do not use it on a wet floor (it might slip) or on a floor with sharp edges or cutting objects (stones…).
• To clean it, do not machine wash or completely douse it!
• Simply use a lightly dampened cloth. Do not use soap, sponges, or aggressive cleaning products.
• To deep clean it occasionally if needed, spray a little homemade cleaner-disinfectant: 3/4 water or floral hydrosol + 1/4 household white vinegar + just a few drops of essential oils you like. Then gently wipe with a clean microfiber cloth.
• The Mat and Room Cleaning Spray can also work; it’s gentle, natural, organic, and contains no vinegar or alcohol.
• Always let your mat dry completely in the shade before rolling it up.
