Mala Collier | Blue Energy

CHF 99.00

In stock

ShaSha's Blue Energy mala is made up of beads of several blue and grey stones that create a superb harmony, ranging from soft blues to deep blues: high-quality sodalite, howlite, solanite, lapis lazuli and grey agate. These precious stones are all recognised in lithotherapy for their virtues. Being natural, each stone is unique in its tones, and so is each mala.

Each necklace is handcrafted in French-speaking Switzerland by Sha Sha's founder, Régine Cuche, using authentic, natural pearls sourced by the artist. There are a few gold inserts between the pearls. The navy blue silk cord that binds the pearls together is patiently and precisely knotted to give a result that is both elegant and soft. The grey Agathe pendant and deep blue cotton tassel that punctuate this magnificent mala confirm its elegance.

The Blue Energy mala is ideal for accompanying your meditations or prayers, but it's also ideal for short moments to anchor your intentions. Wear it as an ornamental jewel, particularly over a plain jumper with a high collar or a beautiful white shirt, or even as a decoration for your home.

Traditionally, in the Buddhist and Hindu religions, the mala is used as a support for prayers. In yoga, the mala is often used in meditation (Japa meditation). Placed in the hand, with the beads held between the fingers, it allows absolute concentration when reciting your various mantras. The positive energy emanating from the beads is enough to transport you into a state of intense relaxation. Each mala can, of course, bring you additional virtues depending on its composition.

The number 108 has a special significance in the Buddhist tradition, as it is the number of trials that Buddha had to undergo before attaining spiritual enlightenment. The mala necklace is therefore always made from a number of pearls related to the number 108.

This mala necklace comes in a pouch or box so you can keep it with you for a long time.

Maintenance
When you receive your mala, you have two choices: wear it straight away, or transmit your intentions to it. The sacred beads will then carry energy, and a kind of connection will link you with your necklace. We recommend the following ceremony:

  • Monday is the sacred day dedicated to Shiva. So start wearing your mala on the first day of the week.
  • Find a quiet place to relax.
  • Place a few flowers in a container of water and dip your mala in it.
  • Light a stick of incense to help your mind and body relax.
  • Once you have reached a level of serenity, cleanse each of the pearls in your mala. Take the time to tell them your intentions and imagine that they are protecting you and bringing you inner peace.
  • Repeat the mantra "OM HREEM NAMAH SHIVAYA OM", which represents Shiva's tears.
  • All you have to do is wear your mala and enjoy its benefits.

If you wear your mala regularly, the pearls will absorb a lot of energy. So it's sometimes necessary to discharge them in order to start afresh. To do this, turn on the tap and place the necklace under running water. Touch each bead with the intention of cleaning it. The best way to dry the necklace is to hang it outside. Once dry, a little natural oil on each pearl will add shine.
