NOTES | When unpacked, the surface of the yoga mat seems a little "powdery", wipe your mat with a damp cloth. The grip of the mat improves with use, but it may take a little patience for the mat to reach its potential! | If you tend to have cold, dry hands and feet during exercise, or if you exercise in non-slip socks, this mat is not suitable. In this case, we recommend the Supergrip or Moonchild mats. | The top side of a traditional mat is only non-slip because of its natural feel and the texture of its surface (without any added non-slip material). You will need to engage your body more to stabilise it. We do not recommend it for beginners | |||
MAINTENANCE | Always wrap with the coloured surface on the outside. SuperGrip mats are more sensitive to grease stains (cosmetic creams, make-up, etc.). If necessary, spray the stain with yoga mat spray, rub gently with a fine, non-scratch cloth (e.g. JEMAKO microfibre) and allow to dry thoroughly. If the mat is dirty, use lemon water (a little lemon in lukewarm water), wipe the carpet well and leave it to dry. | If the carpet is dirty, you can wipe gently with a damp cloththen leave to dry. Washing machine washing is possible, but should be exceptional. Shower instead. If machine-drying, take care: max 30°C, delicate cycle (low spin, no spin-drying), mild detergent, no fabric softener! Dry in the shade in an airy place, not in the dryer or in direct heat (radiator/sun). | If necessary, spray thespray carpet cleaner, then dry with a cloth OR wipe with a damp cloth. If the carpet is very dirty, you can also shower then leave to dry thoroughly | If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth (as thin as possible) then spray with yoga mat spray and allow to dry completely | Avoid contact with care oils, cosmetics and make-up. Most stains will gradually fade over time. If necessary, simply use a spray suitable for cleaning yoga mats. | If necessary, the India mat can be sprayed with yoga mat spray (disinfectant effect). Then leave it to dry thoroughly. If it's dirtier, you can wash it by hand: soak it in a water bath with cold water and a mild detergent for 5 minutes. Then rinse well and press gently. Lay it flat to dry. Do not leave to dry in direct sunlight. |
Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight or in a carpet bag after use. |
