Himalayan bowls | Mini 300gr
These small, lightweight (30g) Tibetan (or Himalayan) bowls are often the first to be purchased, as they are reasonably priced.
Since they are light, they are only used by 'striking' them very gently with a small stick made of wood and felt to make them resonate, without trying to make them sing.
The sound of the small bowls is rather high-pitched, rising towards the sky, and is particularly suitable for playing on the upper part of the body, around the head (very gently for the ears...).
You can combine this small bowl with the larger ones in the traditional series or play several small models together. Even if they are the same size, each is a unique instrument that will emit its own particular sounds and vibrations.

The model at the top left of the photo (turned upside down) is a version of mini-bol with string.
You can clean it with clear, lukewarm water (beware of the thermal shock of very hot or icy water). You can add a little natural soap and gently rub the inside and outside with a very soft cloth. Be sure to rinse it to remove any soap residue, then dry it with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. This step is particularly important so as not to leave any opportunity for oxidation of the 7-metal alloy that makes up your Tibetan bowl.
