Mala Collier | Pray and Love
The Pray & Love mala necklace is made from Rudraksha beads, carnelian gemstones and gold-plated sterling silver beads. At the end of the mala is a large carnelian gemstone used as a pendant.
Rudraksha beads offer peace, clarity and direction, and allow positive thoughts to flow. This is a very rare material. It is extremely powerful in terms of energy.
Carnelian, for its part, helps us to find the courage we need to achieve what is good for us. Self-confidence and the assertion of our ideals are increased tenfold thanks to this semi-precious stone.
This gem also resonates with the 2nd chakra, the sacral, which encourages creativity and acceptance of our feelings.

Traditionally, in the Buddhist and Hindu religions, the mala is used as a support for prayers.
In yoga, the mala is often used in meditation. Placed in the hand, with the beads held between the fingers, it allows absolute concentration when reciting your various mantras. The positive energy emanating from the beads is enough to transport you into a state of intense relaxation. Each mala can, of course, bring you additional virtues depending on its composition.
The number 108 has a special significance in the Buddhist tradition, as it is the number of trials that Buddha had to undergo before attaining spiritual enlightenment. The mala necklace is therefore always made from a number of pearls related to the number 108.
In the Hindu and Buddhist traditions, Rudraksha beads are the oldest meditation beads. They are considered sacred in many cultures. Also known as 'Shiva's tears', these beads are actually the seeds of a tree.
Carnelian beads, for their part, allow us to direct our creation and help us to bring out our emotions thanks to their connection with the sacral chakra.
Each necklace is handmade using authentic, natural pearls. So each mala is unique - no two are the same.
- Monday is the sacred day dedicated to Shiva. So start wearing your mala on the first day of the week.
- Find a quiet place to relax.
- Place a few flowers in a container of water and dip your mala in it.
- Light a stick of incense to help your mind and body relax.
- Once you have reached a level of serenity, cleanse each of the pearls in your mala. Take the time to tell them your intentions and imagine that they are protecting you and bringing you inner peace.
- Repeat the mantra "OM HREEM NAMAH SHIVAYA OM", which represents Shiva's tears.
- All you have to do is wear your mala and enjoy its benefits.
If you wear your mala regularly, the pearls will absorb a lot of energy. So it's sometimes necessary to discharge them in order to start afresh. To do this, turn on the tap and place the necklace under running water. Touch each bead with the intention of cleaning it. The best way to dry the necklace is to hang it outside. Once dry, a little natural oil on each pearl will add shine.
Carnelian is known for strengthening the body, helping to accept one's sensuality and sexuality, and improving fertility thanks to its association with the second chakra. If you are pregnant, Carnelian is particularly suitable for protecting your unborn baby.
We love wearing this necklace, whether for a meditation session, during a yoga class or simply as an accessory to complement our outfits and benefit from its beneficial properties. It can also be worn as a bracelet, wrapped around the wrist.
