Traditional Tibetan bowl | Yang
YANG Collection
A bowl with a more open shape, less closed in on itself, just as what is yang is more open to its environment and what is yin is more attuned to what is inside. For example, in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), yin meridians tend to run along the inside of the thighs and arms (in the shade, linked to lunar energy) and yang meridians tend to run along the exposed outer parts of these limbs (in the light, linked to solar energy)...
Just as everything is a mixture of yin and yang in the universe and within us, and just as each yin meridian works in pair with a yang meridian, the bowls in the Yang series work wonderfully with those in the Yang series. Yin series.
Because of their open bowl shape, these bowls release sound and vibration outwards more quickly, establishing a connection, an openness to giving and receiving. Considered to be genuine boosters for our immune system, they can help release muscular tension and energise our body, mind and energy.

You can clean it with clear, lukewarm water (beware of the thermal shock of very hot or icy water). You can add a little natural soap and gently rub the inside and outside with a very soft cloth. Be sure to rinse it to remove any soap residue, then dry it with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. This step is particularly important so as not to leave any opportunity for oxidation of the 7-metal alloy that makes up your Tibetan bowl.
