What is a balance cushion for?

Inflated with air, this proprioception disc supports the body's natural movements and promotes dynamic seating. Unlike a rigid chair, it stimulates blood circulation, relieves back and pelvic pain, and reduces fatigue. The result: a comfortable and active posture, whether you're at the office or at home.

But that's not all!

• For meditation: it can temporarily replace your traditional zafu.

• For yoga, Pilates, core strengthening…: it can be used under the elbows in a plank, under the feet, under the neck, or in a seated position to enhance balance and tone.

• For physiotherapy: it helps develop body awareness in space and strengthens stabilizing muscles.

Alex didn't invent the balance cushion, but she had the brilliant idea of covering it with a high-end lifestyle fabric cover, Oeko-Tex® certified, so it naturally finds its place in all interiors, private or professional.

Available in two colors:

The cover is removable and washable, and the cushion's firmness can be adjusted by inflation.

Here are some tips for caring for your ByAlex stability cushion:

Cleaning the cover:

• Unzip it and wash it in the washing machine or by hand, at 30 degrees maximum
• Do not tumble dry it; hanging it to dry is enough to remove most wrinkles. If you want to iron it, use a medium-high temperature.
• Once the cover is back on, it might seem a bit small at first glance. But it’s like your skinny jeans. Use it, and it will settle back into place.

Cleaning the inflatable cushion:

• From time to time, spray it with water containing a few drops of eco-friendly detergent
• Then wipe the surface with a damp cloth, using only water
• Then let it air dry completely before putting the cover back on.
